As a BI Backend Developer, your mission is to support the development of BI backend solutions by helping design and implement scalable, efficient systems that integrate data and maintain its integrity.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to implement guidelines and workflows that enhance the performance and reliability of our BI systems.

Your efforts will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of our BI systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business. You'll be part of a team where continuous improvement and collaboration are key to delivering impactful, high-quality BI solutions.

Here Are the Key Tasks You'll Be Working on Every Day

• Support the development and maintenance of scalable, high-performance backend data solutions, ensuring smooth data integration across sources and maintaining data integrity.
• Assist in optimizing database performance and supporting workflow automation using schema evolution principles and BI tools.
• Support the implementation of security best practices and data governance policies to help ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and apply them to improve BI capabilities.

We're Thrilled to Have You Consider Joining Our Team. Here Are the Qualifications We're Seeking

• At least four years of professional hands-on experience in developing data warehouse and data lake solutions, including data modeling and optimizations.
• Proficiency in Python, with the ability to write optimized and maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience in SQL, including basic SCD, window functions, indexing, and data modeling for efficient querying.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory, Blob Storage, and Logic Apps.
• Experience with Databricks, including assisting with data workflows and basic performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Gitflow processes for CI/CD, contributing to pipeline development and branch management.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Skills That Would Make You Shine Even Brighter!

• You have experience with SQL Server and other programming languages (Scala, Java, or similar).
• You have experience with data architecture, including relational database design.
