A Sneak Peek at Your Future Role

As a BI Backend Developer, your primary mission is to offer BI solutions and assistance to both our internal departments and client teams, aiding them in their daily reporting work. This involves creating, testing, and implementing new requirements and change requests within our BI tool stack.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues from diverse areas such as Product Managers, Cloud Architects, Data Engineers and more to transform business requirements into data-driven solutions.

Your hard work will play a crucial role in improving data availability, quality, and compliance, and you will be an integral part of our continuous improvement efforts!

Here Are the Key Tasks You'll Be Working on Every Day

• Collaborating with stakeholders such as Data Solution Managers to gather, evaluate, and transform business requirements as a technical data and BI expert.
• Conceptualizing, developing, and enhancing relational and multidimensional complex data models and structures.
• Creating, testing, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes that are high-performing, robust, and scalable.
• Modifying existing data models and processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business requirements.
• Contributing to the further development of our BI architecture standards and test concepts.
• Ensuring compliance with coding standards/governance guidelines and providing appropriate documentation for all development and modifications.

• At least five years of professional hands-on experience developing data warehouse/data lake solutions and modeling.
• Exceptional proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proven experience in handling large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to extract data from multiple sources.
• A comprehensive understanding of IT systems, data warehousing patterns, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Skills That Would Make You Shine Even Brighter!

• You have practical experience using cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure or Databricks.
• You are skilled in Master Data Management.
• You are familiar with the media/advertising industry.
